KOBE BRYANT
Well, I'm pretty sure you already know who Kobe Bryant because let's face it; everyone is familiar with who he is or at least are familiar with his name. Anyways, if you don't know who he is, he is a star professional basketball player that as of right now plays on the NBA team Los Angeles Lakers. He played basketball during high school and was sent directly to the organization to play as a shooting guard. Another little detail about him was that he won a slam dunk contest in 1997 and he was recognized for how high he could jump and lots of people liked him. He is most likely going to be in the hall of fame because of all these accomplishments that he has achieved throughout his career in the NBA.
Anyways, lets get on to his workout. His workout routine is supposedly called the 666 workout since he spends 2 hours running, 2 hours playing basketball, and 2 hours weightlifting. He does this for six hours a day, 6 days a week, and 6 months out of the year which is where it gets its name from. For weightlifting, he does some sort of Olympic weightlifting since it apparently improves how powerful he is on the court and this is important because it will make him a better player. This workout makes him gain a higher jump, a faster sprint, and it overall makes him so much quicker on the court which would mean that he would be able to outrun the players on the court which would give him a chance to get an easy shot.
This workout inspires me a lot because I also like to play Basketball a lot because first of all it is my favorite sport. I want to try this even though they say he has the toughest workout but if it gets me all these results, then why not try it? I would be able to have a higher vertical jump which would mean that I would probably be able to dunk since I am 6 feet 2 inches and I can reach halfway up the net. If I could only jump about 3 or 4 more inches, I would most likely be able to touch the rim which would give me the ability to dunk. I most likely won't be able to do this workout but I guess it's worth a shot.
